5 Steps to Zero Waste
HOW IT WORKS
Visit us at our storefront or book the mobile refill van.
Shop in person at our beautiful new store in Clayton Heights, Surrey, or catch our mobile refill van at planned stops across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. Check our schedule to see when we’ll be in your neighbourhood!
Tare your containers.
Bring clean, refillable containers from home, or purchase (or place a deposit on) one of our sterilized, reusable containers. We’ll precisely weigh each container before filling.
Fill it up.
Choose from our wide range of eco-friendly, Canadian-made products. Our staff uses pre-sterilized funnels to avoid cross-contamination, and you can take as much or as little as you like.
Weigh and calculate.
After filling, we weigh your containers again and subtract the tare weight. All products are priced per 100 grams, so you only pay for what you take.
Pay securely.
We accept debit and credit cards at both the store and mobile van. Contactless payment helps us reduce waste and maintain a clean, allergy-sensitive environment.
OUR MISSION
Although the concept of ‘Zero Waste’ isn’t new considering that plastic was invented around WW2, there has been a lot of conversation in recent years about how big brands and manufacturers are using plastic to package everything. We know that keeping plastics out of the waste system is a problem and it can be overwhelming to figure out where and how to start reducing our contribution as a consumer.
